Gaston Radiology (GRAD), aphysician-led independent practice, has proudly served the greater Charlotte,NC metro area since 1949. We are seeking a full-time Diagnostic Radiologist tojoin our team of 22 radiologists in a dynamic, growing practice. We offer verycompetitive compensation for the region and nationally, with an opportunity forpartnership in approximately two years. What You'll Do

As a Diagnostic Radiologist atGRAD, you will deliver high-quality imaging interpretation and collaborativepatient care across a broad range of modalities and clinical settings. In this role, you will:

•    Interpret a broad range of diagnostic imaging studies,including CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and radiographs.

•    Provide timely, accurate interpretations that supportpatient diagnosis and treatment planning.

•    Collaborate with referring physicians, hospitalists,surgeons, oncologists, and other specialists to support coordinated,patient-centered care.

•    Use advanced platforms including PACS, EPIC, McKesson,and Powerscribe 360 to optimize workflow and patient outcomes.

•    Contribute to multidisciplinary case discussions andprovide consultative support on complex diagnostic cases.

•    Participate in quality assurance, peer review, andcontinuous improvement initiatives.

•    Pursue subspecialty interests — such as neuroradiology,body imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, breast imaging, or emergency radiology —as practice needs and your interests align.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

•    MD or DO degree

•    Completed ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiologyresidency

•    Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Boardof Radiology

•    Eligible for North Carolina medical licensure

•    Strong proficiency across multiple diagnostic imagingmodalities

•    Excellent communication and collaboration skills in amultidisciplinary clinical environment

Technical Competencies

•    Imaging Interpretation — Proficient in CT, MRI,ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and radiographic studies across a broad range ofpatient populations and clinical conditions.

•    Technology Proficiency — Experience with PACS,EPIC, McKesson, Powerscribe 360, and other modern radiology IT systems.

•    Workflow Management — Able to manage ahigh-volume workload while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and turnaroundexpectations.

Work Environment & Physical Demands (ADA)

This is a primarily sedentaryrole performed in a reading-room or office environment. Essential functionsinclude extended periods of seated workstation use, sustained visual focus onhigh-resolution monitors, repetitive use of a mouse, keyboard, and dictationsystem, and clear verbal communication with referring physicians and staff.Occasional standing, walking, and reaching are required when consulting inclinical areas, and the radiologist must be able to operate standard imagingand IT equipment.
