At Gaston Radiology, we believe that a highly specialized team of radiologists helps safeguard the health of every patient. Each member of our team has dedicated years to the study of general medicine and Radiology, and we have fellowship-trained subspeciality including neuroradiology, musculoskeletal, mammography, nuclear medicine and cardiac. We offer broad expertise in the most up to date methods and practices for early detection and treatment.

Advanced imaging technology

Gaston Radiology, in partnership with CaroMont Health offers the most advanced equipment available, including a 64 slice CT Scanner, high field strength MRI units and the technology of PET-CT, which helps detect cancers in their earliest stages. We also provide the area's only Digital Mammography center and the latest in digital bone densitometry equipment.

With four imaging centers Gaston Radiology brings world class care right to your hometown neighborhood. We conduct over 250,000 exams each year and we are still growing. Our centers are at Summit Place, including The Women's Center, Gaston Memorial Hospital, The Diagnostic Center and our new location in Belmont (only 15 minutes from South Charlotte). Each location offers state-of-the-art equipment and on-site radiologists. Our physician specialists use the electronic imaging system PACS (Picture Archiving Communication System) to share images on-line for even quicker diagnosis.

This allows us to share the name of CaroMont Imaging Services and Gaston Radiology for the preventive and diagnostic imaging services that we provide our local communities. Gaston Radiology also extends the opportunity to utilize our highly trained and experienced radiologists in other communities to insure that all patients have access to the very best care provided by our expertise.
